Holiday Greetings Knights and families!

Tis the season for holiday cheer and end-of-semester deadlines. Join us on December 12th for a festive night of travel around the world. Guests will board a "flight" to 8 different countries to experience holiday traditions, food, music, and games from around the world. January 11th, 2023 is the last day of the 1st semester. School resumes after winter break on Monday, January 9th. Since that leaves only 3 school days after the break, I highly encourage all students to complete their courses before winter break.

State progress monitoring testing begins next week, December 5th, and runs through January 25th. Please see the detailed schedule below.

SECURLY

Flagler Schools uses Securly to set Internet filtering rules for school devices, but more importantly, we receive alerts for alarming online activities that point to self-harm and bullying. As a parent/guardian, you can use Securly to stay on top of your child's online activity in real-time from anywhere with the SecurlyHome App. You can use this online activity feed to open a dialogue with your child about their digital lives. Securly will also send you weekly email reports with a snapshot of your child's Internet activity.

Parents/guardians can access the Securly Parent Portal by signing in with the email that is associated with their child on Skyward. You can access the Securly Parent Portal on the Securly website or through the SecurlyHome app. Enter the parent email and select "Send Me a Link." Parents/guardians should also get a welcome email and a weekly update sent to the parent email in Skyward.

If you attempt to log in and your parent email is not recognized, your parent email will need to be updated in Skyward. This can be done at your child's school by completing the Request Securly Parent Portal Access form.
