PORTAGE WARRIOR CURLING BANQUET
TIME TO CELEBRATE AN AMAZING SEASON!!
TWO MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO SPEND TIME TOGETHER
Hey Gang,
First of all, thanks for a great season. Everyone worked hard and saw the positive results from that. You proudly maintained the tradition that has made Warrior Curling the standard other teams attempt to imitate.
We have two end of the season events approaching: helping with the alumni bonspiel and our banquet.
First, we will be cleaning up the club on the morning's of the alumni bonspiel. That will be Saturday, March, 9 and Sunday, March 10. It usually only takes about an hour because we have a lot of people. I'd would like you to come one of the two mornings. On Saturday we will start at 7:00 a.m. (draws will probably start at 8:00), and on Sunday at 8:00 a.m. Email me to let me know what day you will be coming. I will assign you a spot if I don't hear from you. When one day gets full (14 players), you will get the other day.
Second, the banquet will be Sunday, March 10 at 5:00. We will have supper (shredded turkey sandwiches, potato salad, chips, beverage, dessert etc.), pass out awards, and watch the slideshow. It usually runs about an hour and a half. The athletic department is no longer covering the cost of this meal for players or coaches. It will be $6.00 per person. You will need to let me know how many are coming from your family.
