Minecraft Reading Challenge

October 1st starts our Minecraft Reading Challenge in the library! Students will be given a special Minecraft Reading log during library time to track the minutes that they read during the month of October.

PK - 2 - Their goal is to read 20 books during the month. Books read to them by their parents and/or teachers count towards this goals. Reading logs will need to be turned in as students reach their goal. They will receive a prize as well as have their name added to our heart wall.

3-5 - Their goal is to read 600 minutes during the month of October. They will bring their reading logs to the library each week and we will use a Google Form to keep track of minutes for each class. There will be a Weekly Class Award for the class that has the highest number of minutes. These awards will be presented every Friday starting on October 10th.

Other exciting rewards!

Both the PK-2 class as well as the 3-5 class with the highest average of books/minutes will be invited to a minecraft party in the library.

EVERYONE who turns in a competed reading log will be entered in a drawing for prizes!
