Shout Outs
Shout out to Patty in our cafeteria. She really stepped up and went beyond to help with our Thanksgiving meal.
Shout out to Mr. Epting. The milk truck (cafeteria) broke down before delivering to DFES. Mr. Epting saved the day and picked the milk up himself and delivered it in time for students to enjoy during lunch.
D. Abu Abdo. She has created a time-line of her classes year in photos. She encourages visitors to follow along we they explore and learn about the world as readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists, and social scientists. And then watch us change the world as environmentalists, humanitarians and advocates of social justice.
- J. Garrett's homeroom class. They taught their peers about oceans and the giant garbage patch. Audience members were challenged to take social action by reduce, reusing, and recycling plastic bottles and plastic bags.
- B. Gantt, S. Beckman, J. Reed for their efforts for most recent Fox Fun Friday.
- One of our grandparents, Mrs. Breedlove, send a shout out to staff on car duty who helped her when her car broke down. She says that you all were wonderful!

Staffing Tailgate Luncheon
We are excited for our upcoming tailgate luncheon and even more excited that our teachers can enjoy this feast duty free. Look forward to the food and fellowship.
Please check your scheduled lunch time and/or coverage assignments for Tuesday's Carolina/Clemson tailgate. Classroom teachers may take their students to the cafeteria to pick up their bag lunches five minutes before the listed time so that students will be in their classrooms at their lunch time. Those covering should report to their assigned room a few minutes before the listed time to assure that homeroom teachers have time to enjoy the tailgate event.

Winter MAP testing
We believe we are squared away for MAP testing to begin Tuesday, November 28th. Beth Lester sent a video to access for those that may be new to this process. For all of our new proctors I am going to ask if you would touch base with either B. Lester or M. Ridgeway on this coming Monday or Tuesday just so they can walk you through the process. Shouldn't take long.
Please let us know if there are additional considerations for us.
