Ninth grade 7:45-12:45; students will:

• Take pictures for their ASB card
• Create connections as a class
• Learn about opportunities and expectations at HRVHS
• Meet their teachers
• Practice getting to their classes
• Busses will run on a normal route schedule

New Students Orientation: 1:00-3:00

Students will attend periods 1-4 and will follow the bell schedule below.

In an effort to decrease the traffic congestion during morning drop off and afternoon pick up, we will be directing traffic to turn right upon exiting the parking lots at HRV. If you are dropping off or picking up a student, please consider dropping off before 8:00am, and picking up after 3:15. This can help to reduce the congestion during these times.

Students and families are invited for an evening of learning, connecting, and fun at HRVHS to kick off the school year. This is a great opportunity to meet teachers, learn about what our school has to offer, and let us know how we can help your student succeed, from 9th grade transition to senior graduation and everything in between!

We want to get to know our families better. You know your students best and it's important to us to understand every student and family's hopes, dreams and needs when it comes to high school.

We'll have interpreters and student guides available throughout the evening. The schedule is flexible, so come any time between 4:30 and 7:30.

For fun, we'll be providing dinner for the whole family. We also have free admission to girls' volleyball and boys' soccer games, and a sneak preview of our fall musical Mean Girls. There will be prizes throughout the evening and a special grand prize drawing at the end of the night.
