Fosters Needed!
Help save a life today.
Message from Lynne:
Wishing you the merriest of merry this holiday season. Hoping you are surrounded by the warmth of family and good friends. Hoping you find some peace in the quiet moments amid the busy-ness and joy in the festivity.
As I am preparing for the holiday I am talking to our friends at the shelters in KY. They are wishing for safety for the many, many adorable, sweet, deserving kids that have come into their care. We are hoping to bring some of them to the safety of Safe Hands on Saturday, December 27th. We need foster homes who can welcome them in. If you can help please let us know. As always, the best way we have to get new fosters or volunteers is to have you forward (and share our FB post up later today - www.facebook.com/safehandsrescue) and ask your friends and family to do the same. You never know what friend of a friend may be moved by one of these faces and reach out a hand to take a paw. New folks can fill out the foster application at www.safehandsrescue.org and we'll get back to them with details on the foster program to see if it's a good match for them.
Momma Danni is estimated to be about 3 years old and to weigh between 35-40 lbs. Shelter says she is a very sweet and gentle girl. Her pups are weaned and ready to go to foster homes of their own. They are 5 adorable little fluff balls and weigh about 4lbs each!
Let's give him a real name and a warm place to rest his head.

Jacob
Violet
They missed the last train. . . please help!

Momma is estimated to be about 2 years old and 40 lbs. Pups are about 4 – 5 weeks. These were set to be euthanized and we’ve asked for time to find a foster for her. She isn’t really able to provide milk for them so pups do not have to go to foster with momma.
Beagle Boy
Glitter
Annie Oakley
Qtip (above) & Cotton (below) – 8 – 12 mos – these adorable kids are said to be a little shy but fine with other dogs.
On the Euth List-need commitment by Christmas Eve! Be their HERO!
Peppy
Dancer
Tammy
Happy loves everyone she meets and is good with other dogs. I would guesstimate her around 1 and weight at approximately 30#. She is a darling terrier mix and deserves a wonderful home.

If you couldn't take the foster until Sunday the 28th - please still let us know that! If you could commit to one of these kids on January 10th please let me know as well. We MIGHT be able to get some of them held if we can make a commitment.
