Classroom News!
Another busy week has come to an end. It was wonderful to see you at Back to School last night. We enjoyed giving you a “peek” into our rich and varied classroom program.
We ended our month of learning about Ocean Life with a visit from Miss Sarah and Miss Danielle from "Under the Sea." They brought a variety of live sea creatures for the children to see and even touch! We saw a bamboo shark, different crabs, and sea snails amongst other sea creatures. Our Kindergarten children asked a lot of good questions and knew many facts about the creatures that were featured because of all the information they have learned this month.
We also read a funny story called "How To Lose All Your Friends." We talked about the qualities it takes to be a good friend. Later we wrote a class "flip" book called "How to Make a Friend and How to Lose a Friend."

Poem of the week: "Make New Friends"
Make new friends
But keep the old
One is silver
And the other gold.
