Welcome Back Students!
Meet Mrs. O'Neill
Greetings Jamison Parents,
Welcome to a new school year! I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. My name is Dolores O’Neill and I will be the Student Support Counselor at Jamison Elementary School this Fall while Mrs. Levy is out on a medical leave. I come to you with over a decade of experience as a child therapist and school counselor and I am thrilled to be part of the Jamison community this Fall. I look forward to supporting the students with the standard of excellence for which Central Bucks School District and Jamison Elementary are known. I am very excited to join the staff at Jamison in working with the students who make Jamison such a wonderful place to be. Thank you, and once again, welcome back!Sincerely,
Dolores O’Neill, M.S.Ed.
Important information coming home...
Parents and guardians,
Typically on the first or second day of school, A LOT of information is sent home. I've tried to minimize most of the paper work over the course of the past few years; however, you still have forms to read and complete. Please be mindful of the deadline (9/8).

Help Us Help Your Child
If you are a new family to Jamison or a returning family, please make us aware of any medical concerns or conditions your child may have. If your child is taking medications, please make us aware. Having this information is very important to have so we can respond to any of your child’s needs when he or she visits the nurse’s office.
Our procedure is to notify parents if their child presents to the nurse with any concerns that need either your attention or the attention of a physician. We do not call a parent for every visit to the health room however we will make every effort to reach you in the event your child needs immediate attention. We will use e-mail often for those FYI issues. An example might be your child bumped their head and there is no apparent injury and our nursing assessment is unremarkable. We want you to know the child hit their head, in case they have symptoms later in the evening at home.
Car Dismissal procedure
For the continued safety of our students and to facilitate the expediency of car pickup, the following is the procedure for car dismissal to be used every day:
Each family will be given a card stock placard (in Wed. Folder). Please write the family’s last name(s) in LARGE letters with black marker, so that it is visible from a distance.
Keep the placard in your glove compartment.
Upon arrival to car pick-up, place the placard in your front passenger SIDE window, with the family name facing outside. It should sit nicely in the window frame. Please do not place it on the dash board, it is difficult to see.
If someone other than yourself will be picking up your child occasionally, you may request additional placards for them at car pick-up. If there is a change of transportation for a student who does not normally utilize car dismissal, please call the office so the teachers on car dismissal duty can be notified of the change.
