Box Tops Update
Congratulations to the following classes for turning in 75 or more physical or digital Box Tops: Norton, Thomas, Birdyshaw, Caffey, Grey, Rice, Peterson, Howell, Miles, Knerr, Chapman, Jett, Barnes, and Smith.
Each of these classes received a prize as a thank you. Please keep saving your Box Tops and scanning your receipts! We are so close to our $500 goal!
Coke Gives Update
We are also very close to meeting our $600 goal for Coke Gives! Keep sending in your codes from your Coke products (located on caps, box flaps, and shrink wrap) or enter them through the Coke Gives website. If you have time to volunteer, we could use some help entering codes. Email sscboxtopscoke@gmail.com if you would like to help. We are hoping Coke Gives has a double point day over the holiday break!

Bus Expectations
The actions of the students riding the bus are the number one influencer of how safe the bus is. While riding the bus, students are expected to stay seated in the seat, keep their hands to themselves, keep their voices at a low level, and do not stick anything out the windows. Please take a moment to review the bus expectations with your children to help us keep the buses as safe as possible.

PTO Fundraising 2019-2020
What are our fundraisers? Our major fundraisers include our annual fall Change for Change drive and our spring Fairy Tale Festival. Throughout the year we will also have school spirit nights, everyday fundraisers, PTO dues and donations, and offer spirit wear. This handout will give you a look ahead at what to expect during the school year and let you know how much money we hope to raise at each event.
Fairy Tale Festival Friday, February 28th, 2020 Last year we introduced a new fundraiser that was a huge success! We hope you’ll join us for dancing, stories, activities, character photos, dessert and much more! Dress up as your favorite fairy tale character if you wish. Our Fairy Tale Festival is a community-wide event so bring a neighbor or a friend. Tickets are needed for children 2 and up, and they are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. All activities are included in the ticket price and Chick-fil-A will be available for purchase with 10% of sales donated to SSC! The Fairy Tale Festival will also kick off our silent auction fundraiser. The goal of this event, including the auction, is to raise $9,000 for our school.
Spirit Nights There will be four spirit nights held throughout the year - two in the fall and two in the spring. The goal for our Spirit Nights is to raise $1,000 total ($250 per event) for our school.

Everyday fundraisers - Our everyday fundraisers are ways that you can help us raise money for SSC with things you’re already buying. They include Planet Fundraiser, Box Tops for Education, Publix Partners, and Coca-Cola Give. The goal of our everyday fundraisers is to raise $3,100 for our school.
