What are we counting? ...Halves? thirds??

This week, we have had an expert math trainer from The Number Lab on campus helping to facilitate learning in some of our math classrooms. Our math teachers have been busy reflecting on the best strategies for helping learners become mathematicians. And, these teachers are even coming back to school on Saturday to continue their professional learning! (WHAT?! - impressive!) Check out these students leading the learning below!

This upcoming week we celebrate National School Counselor's Week. We are thankful to have the best school counselor around, Mrs. Ray-Henderson. She is always available to help students with any needs that have. She provides support to students from a social-emotional lens to help increase academic success. Encourage your student to let Mrs. Ray-Henderson know how much he/she appreciates her!

Are you curious as to what our ImagineWest Micro School students have been up to? Check out this newsletter!

A few reminders:

  • The tardy bell rings at 8:05am. Please make sure your student is in the building by 8:05am. Students not in class by 8:05am will receive tardy documentation.
  • 11:40am is the halfway point in the school day. If your student checks in after this time or checks out before this time, he/she will be counted absent for the entire day.
  • All students must be in uniform daily. See the image below for uniform expectations.
