How did it become mid-April already? While we were teased with some amazing weather followed by a week of cold temperatures, it’s starting to feel more and more like Spring every day. We are excited to join you this morning and bring you today’s #leydenpride East Leyden Parent Bulletin.

Incredibly, we are quickly approaching the end of this school year, and that’s certain to come with many of the same feelings we have felt throughout the past 12 months; we are looking forward to what’s ahead, but knowing there is still a lot to do and many uncertainties before we get there. While we continue to feel this, we are also so, so confident that our students and families will continue to do the amazing work that everyone does! Keep it up - you are almost there.

East/West Student Services is thrilled to share the brand new Leyden Virtual Calming Room. This resource was developed by a group of East/West counselors and social workers to support faculty/staff, students, and families through a time that remains challenging for many. The Calming Room features the following topics:

• Mindfulness
• Puzzles and Games
• Sounds and Music
• Helpful Smartphone Apps
• Visual Relaxation
• Yoga
