"Let's use video to reinvent education" Salman Khan

What is Khan Academy?

Khan Academy is a non-profit educational website created in 2006 by educator Salman Khan. The stated mission is to provide "a free world-class education for anyone anywhere."

The website features 700 micro lectures via video tutorials that are stored on YouTube.
All of the Khan Academy resources are available to anyone free of charge. Teachers can create an account that will allow them to set up classes for their students to use, or they can link or embed any of the videos available in the site in a web page.

Khan Academy Library covers math, science topics such as biology, chemistry, and physics, as well as the humanities with playlists on finance and history.
The site is a great resource for teachers looking for video tutorials that could be used in conjunction with a flipped classroom.
