Minnewaska Memo
MAEIS Weekly Update
You're From Minnesota If...
- If you consider it a sport to gather your food by drilling through 18 inches of ice and sitting there all day hoping that the food will swim by.
- If you’re proud that your state makes the national news 96 nights each year because International Falls (like Siberia) is the coldest spot in the nation.
- If your local Dairy Queen (ice cream) is closed from November through March, you might live in Minnesota.
I think we've made the news enough with the cold weather and blizzards we've been blessed to participate in. On a side note, it's almost March and the Glenwood Dairy Queen opens on FRIDAY!
Kidding aside, let's hope for an uneventful weather week and a heat wave for skiing on Friday!
Conferences
Tonight's our last night, Brian and I will be out and about. I will also be heading to the board meeting following them. If you haven't made one yet, feel free to stop in.
Staff Meetings
The last 2 times I attempted to schedule staff meetings, we have had a crazy week with weather. So here's to an attempt to not jinx us and be together for a bit.
