In addition to our requests for prayers for our SMM families and community, we request that you pray for individual priests in our Archdiocese. Our priests need our prayers as much as we need theirs. These priests are celebrating their birthdays this upcoming week. What a great birthday present to have so many people praying for them.

GIFT OF PRAYER IN THE YEAR 2020

St. Margaret Mary School students will participate in Gift of Prayer this year but with some modifications. In non-COVID years, the students would visit the Adoration Chapel during the Gift of Prayer Week. This year, from December 7-10, every class will spend time in adoration in the church to offer a gift of prayer for a loved one. This will allow the students to spread out. Students in grades PreK-3 through 3 will go as a grade level. Students in grades 4 - 7 will go during their Religion classes.


In the past, we invited and encouraged parents to join us, but this year we are unable to do so. Please join us in spirit during the times your children are in adoration. We all need prayer, and what greater gift could we possibly give each other than prayer.


We don’t want our students to miss this time of peace and quiet in prayer. The graces poured out in Eucharistic Adoration just can’t be found anywhere else, not even on smile.amazon.com! We look forward to praying with you!

We have celebrated student birthdays through the month of November on WSSM these past few weeks. Since we still have to socially distance and maintain our static groups, we do it by homerooms in grades K through 2. Grades 3 through 7 are done by grade level. We will continue to socially distance static groups when they come to the WSMM studio. Students will be expected to wear their masks the entire time. Every month, we will work through the cycle. Here is the schedule for December:
