Just a reminder that there will be school on Monday. We will be having our school-wide picture taken for the yearbook on Monday. We encourage students to wear the following colors:
- PK: Blue
- Kinder: Green
- 1st: Yellow

Don’t forget, we are starting our FAST testing. Please be sure that your student is getting a good night’s sleep and a healthy breakfast to ensure they are fresh and alert to take the tests. We will be giving the tests over the next 2-3 week period.
A lot of parents have been asking about Kindergarten round up. Information will be coming out soon, we are just waiting to firm up a few details. Look for communication from our District office or through our website www.ccaschools.org.
Have a nice weekend.

Notes from Miss. Haight
Shoes That Fit:
Shoes That Fit is a program that is established to help provide shoes to children in need. If your child is in need of shoes, and this program would be helpful to you, please contact Brandi Haight at the school.
Clipper Leaders:
The Clipper Leaders have opened the Book Nook this week! The goal of the Book Nook is to give students the opportunity to have access to as many books as possible. Often times students get books that are never read after the first time. The Book Nook allows students to bring in books they are finished reading and trade them in for a different book. This process can keep going if they want to return a book for a different one when they are finished.
Parents should talk to their children about which books they can trade at the Book Nook and which ones they cannot (cannot trade library books or classroom books). The Book Nook is open in the morning on Mondays and Thursdays.
If you have questions, please contact Ms. Haight or Mrs. Ward
