We hope everyone had a great Spring Break!


I am excited to announce that Hollydale Elementary has been selected to pilot a new form of school-to-home communication called ParentSquare. This unified communications platform is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection with Hollydale Elementary. It provides a safe way for district administrators, school principals, teachers, staff, and parents to:

● Send and receive school and class information

● Share pictures and files

● See calendar items

● Sign up to volunteer

● Schedule parent-teacher conferences

● and much more . . . all in one centralized place!


For families with students attending Hollydale all district and school, grade level and classroom information will now be sent to your computer or phone via email and/or text. For even more convenience, you will also have the option to download the ParentSquare app (available for free for iOS and Android devices).

We will launch our pilot of ParentSquare the week of April 4. Please watch for more information!

Just a reminder that toys, Pokemon cards and electronic devices are not allowed at school! Please keep these home! These can be distractions for students and we do not want anyone to lose anything they feel is valuable.

Immunization Exclusion Day is April 20, 2022.


If your child is in not current on their vaccinations you have already been contacted by Ms. Nguyen. Please get your students vaccinations up to date so they are not excluded from school on Wednesday April 20th.


If we have not received the needed information for your student by Wednesday, April 20th they will not be allowed to be at school.


If your child has recently received their vaccinations, or if you would like to check the status on your child's vaccination record, you can email Jessica Nguyen @ nguyen74@gresham.k12.or.us or feel free to contact the office at (503) 661-6226.

We have some exciting things planned for Connect to Kindergarten this year! If you have a student who will be in kindergarten next year please come see us! We will be hosting this Open House/Fair style event on Wednesday, April 20th from 4pm-5:30pm.

Hollydale swag

If you or a family member have been wanting to get a Hollydale shirt or sweatshirt, this is the time! T shirts, long sleeve shirts, and hoodie sweatshirts will be available in youth and adult sizes in black, grey, and our NEW color, royal blue! Order forms can be found in the office. You can return order forms to the office with cash or check or you can order online with Venmo!!

Purchases Via Venmo MUST include: Style, Size, Color, Student first and last name, and Teacher's name.

Orders will be filled each week and you can order anytime!


March 28th- Spring fundraiser kick off! We are so excited to announce our spring fundraiser that will run March 28th-April 11th. This is a great opportunity for students and families to help raise funds to support school activities and functions like field trips and class parties. Be on the lookout for more information coming home with students soon!

State Testing Opt Out

State Testing for grades 3-5 is between April 1, 2022 and June 10, 2022. If you would like to Opt your student out please complete the attached form.

Kindergarten Registration for the 2022-2023 School Year is OPEN!!!

If you or someone you know has a child who will be 5 year old on or before September 1, 2022 they can register for Kindergarten NOW!!


Registration is online through ParentVUE and can be accessed HERE.
