The Carleton Chronicle
A weekly update from Carleton Middle School
Thank you Boosters
This past Monday, we held our last official Booster meeting of the year and had a chance to thank our outgoing officers and welcome our new Booster Board. I would like to publically thank Laura Davis (President), Dawn Greco (Vice President), Luisa Schultz (Secretary), and Dawn Boyd (Treasurer) for all of their service throughout the school year. Many of them have been with us for multiple years and they have donated countless hours to benefit the students and staff at Carleton Middle School. Thank you for your leadership.
We also welcomed next year's board at the meeting and talked about upcoming events and future plans. They have big shoes to fill but we are confident with their nomination and ability to confidently lead our parent group. Our 17-18 Booster Board will be Jennifer Tymoszek (President), Dorothy Jackson Bush (Vice President), Etivia Thomas (Secretary), and Dawn Boyd (returning as Treasurer). We are looking forward to another great year.
Please see more information below regarding the upcoming 8th Grade Farewell hosted by our Booster Club.

Dress Code Reminders
As the weather gets warmer, please remind your son or daughter to be mindful about the clothes they choose to wear to school. We are pleased that many of our students are meeting these expectations.
Below are a few things to consider as we wrap up the school year:
-There should not be any bare midriffs and all shirts must have sleeves
-Skirts and shorts must be mid-thigh length and should be worn at the waist
-Tight fitting clothing or spandex-type material should be avoided
-No holes or tattered fabric above the knees
-Hats and hoodies should remain off
Thank you for your support.
