8th Grade Awards and Recognition Night:
8th Grade Recognition and Celebration Night will creatively take place inside and outside on TONIGHT, THURSDAY, MAY 26 by alphabet in stations between 5:00-8:00pm. The letter was sent to 8th grade students and families. The letter is linked here as well. In addition, here is the detailed letter that was sent earlier this week to all 8th grade students and families.
Maverick Mania
Tomorrow, students will participate in this year’s Maverick Mania. It’s a fun day that includes a carnival-like atmosphere. Students (weather permitting) will be outside from about 9:30-11:30am. There will be bounce houses and pick up games in the gym and on the soccer fields. There will be some concessions available so students may want to bring money. There will also be a dunk tank with some of Murphy’s very own sitting for 15 minute windows of time. Students will need to buy chances to dunk a teacher. If possible, please do not come to pick up your student during Maverick Mania as it will be difficult to know exactly where your student is during the event. Lastly, please understand that we cannot allow parents to pick
up other students during the school day. We do have a rain plan in case we are not able to have the students outside during this time.
