Lunch Reminder

Please remember that we only allow one visitor per student per week at lunches. We have a limited number of seats in the cafeteria; if the visitor table is full, we will ask you to drop your student's lunch off with them and return to visit on another day. Please keep in mind that Fridays are especially busy. Parents are not permitted to sit at class tables or at the allergy table.

Hiker/Biker Reminder

When picking your student up in the afternoon, please remember to ensure that you still follow all laws and common courtesies for parking - even during that short pick-up window. Many parents are meeting their children by golf cart, but we are blocking the entire cul-de-sac. We just want to ensure that our dismissal does not get in the way of the neighborhood streets or homeowners' driveways. We do not want Harris County to be mad at us! Help us keep everyone safe and keep the roadways clear - even during dismissal. Thank you!

It's that time of year...field day is back and we need your help!

We would love to have you join us as we fill the day with activities, laughter and a little friendly competition. To ensure the continued success of our field days, we must rely on the outstanding support of parent/guardian volunteers. Field Day will occur on Thurs or Friday depending on your child's grade. Please see the attached graphic to find out when your student(s) will be participating!

Please note that each session is divided into two parts (1) Activity Rotations and (2) Relay Races. When you sign up to volunteer you will participate for both grade levels for whichever area you volunteer. Your child will participate in both the Relay Races and Activity Rotations so you will see them when they are in your area!

If you would like to volunteer (and cheer on your student), please select an available activity slot on your desired date and sign up! The PTO Website link is below and you can find the sign-up under the Volunteer tab. If you have any questions, please contact Jay Reed at jmorrison006@gmail.com.

Thank you!

Junior Achievement

Want to volunteer in the classroom this year? Interested in teaching 30-45 minute lessons to your child and their class about opportunities for civic engagement and life skills? We need classroom volunteers for all classes K - 5th! If this is something you're interested in doing please visit the Rennell PTO Website below and click the Volunteer tab at the top. The JA Volunteer Sign Up link is posted at the top of the page. We'll be communicating information out late next week about what's involved and training, quick and easy!

If you have any questions please contact Christy Holecek at christyholecek@gmail.com

Please remind your student to check the Lost and Found, the weather will turn chilly soon!
