Hello Dewing School Community,

Last Friday, our students participated in our first of three March-ing through the decades dress-up days. As always, our students looked amazing! Future dress-up days: March 18-80's day, March 25-90's day.

No School Wednesday: There is no school on Wednesday as our staff will be participating in a Professional Development Day.

Read Across America: Thank you for helping your children participate in Read Across America Day. We extended the collection until Tuesday, and the final counts will be completed later in the week. Winning homerooms will be announced in the next smore. Most importantly, we spent the week celebrating our love for reading!

Curious Creatures: Thanks to the generosity of the PAC, each homeroom was able to spend an hour learning about all of the Curious Creatures. My personal favorite was the Chinchilla!

Down Syndrome Awareness: Monday, March 21st is World Down Syndrome Awareness Day. If your child wishes, s/he can join staff in wearing fun and creative socks to show their support.

Specialist Information: Our K-2 Specialists keep Aspen updated frequently, please check on your child's progress through the Aspen Portal.

Save the Date: On Friday, March 25th, the Dewing Site Council will sponsor a Dewing Game Night. This will be a fun-family event. More information will follow.
