Virtual Open House
In light of the community concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic, North View Middle School will be hosting a virtual open house experience for families to engage with. This virtual experience can be accessed in two ways. Either a self-guided experience or an individual virtual conference with one of your child's teacher.
- Self Guided: The first option would be a self-guided experience where you will be able to learn more about the hybrid model of instruction, be directed to resources to learn about our programming model and the building's COVID Readiness Plan.
This experience will also allow you to review videos from your student's teachers and access forms that needed to be completed among other things. There is no action that you need to take at this time if you select this option. More information will be sent out on August 31st for you to review.
- Virtual Conference: Your second option is to schedule individual time with one of your student's teachers on September 3rd. In addition to meeting with one of your student's teachers, you will be able to review your student’s schedule, discuss goals for the school year, learn more about the hybrid model of instruction, be directed to resources to learn about our programming model and the building's COVID Readiness Plan.
If this is something you are interested in, please use the form found here to let us know what your preferred conferencing time is. Your conferencing teacher will follow up with you the week of August 31st to confirm your time and provide you with the next steps.
- School Tours: I know that moving to a new school can be a very anxiety-filled experience in the best of times and for that reason, we will be providing small group school tours for students and families new to North View Middle School. This can be scheduled between 8 am and 6:30 pm.
Each touring experience will be facilitated by North View Middle School staff. Groups will be limited to ten people and visitors will be required to complete a COVID 19 visitor screening process. More information will be sent out to all sixth-grade families and any newly enrolled seventh and eighth-grade families shortly.
