Tutoring
K-6, 4 days a week through December will be doing Fountas and Pinnell. Time sheets will start from 3:20-4:20, questions regarding tutoring need to go to Mr. Antonio.
Grade Level Meeting Discussion
Please monitor students. We have kids running in hallways and no one not walking kids to buses.
Dress for 60’s day Nov. 19 include teachers and students.
After school detention will be assigned by Administration, ie. habitually refusing to do work could possibly be assigned to after school detention by admin. Option for managing behavior.
Ugly sweater contest for staff build morale. Ms. Shelly suggested dressing as a Christmas character also during week before Christmas break.
Discussed 8th graders as going to resource students are loud in hallways, hitting on doors disrupting elementary classes. Discussed having kids go outside to get to gym, concerns about weather. Discussed possibly walking 10 at time.
Ms. Shelly going to share with 3rd grade and Ms. Heather is going to speak with 1st and 2nd grade.
NC State Basketball
Teacher Appreciation promotion that we offering to all teachers/staff and their families. Use of Microwaves
Due to concerns about student safety, students shall not be allowed to operate microwaves in cafeterias (or any school location). The use of microwaves is to be allowed in our schools at the sole discretion of the principal. If allowed, the following guidelines shall be followed:
- Reheating of all food(s) should be allowed only in food prep areas;
- microwaves should be operated by adults; and
- instructions for safe use of microwaves must be available to all users.
