AAA News You Can Use-May 17

End of the Year

I can't believe it's time to wrap up and complete our year end tasks. Please refer to the checklist that was distributed at faculty meeting and watch for ongoing updates to technology collection.

I will be stopping by your rooms or catching you in the cafeteria over these last few days to talk to each of you one on one. I am interested in your feedback as we move forward… I appreciate your help in setting the stage for next year!

EDAL

Thank you to those of you that have completed your Educate Alabama. I have closed you out and you will be ready to begin again in August. Evidence must be completed by the End of the Day on Tuesday for everyone else. There are several EDAL experts around the school. If you need help, I will be glad to partner you up!

End of Year Teacher Celebrations!

Congratulations! We have worked so hard and accomplished so much, now let’s all get together and celebrate. Our extraordinary sunshine committee have worked extra hard to plan our end of the year faculty extravaganza on May 25 @ 6:00pm at the Lumberyard. It will be $15 per person and guests are welcome. Money should be turned in by May 20 so that we can have an accurate head count. We cannot wait to see you there.

Teacher Lenovos ReImaging May 18

  • Teachers will need to turn in their Lenovos to Mrs. Parker by 2:30pm on May 18.
  • You will need to notate any damage or features that are not working.
  • The refresh will happen in our building, overnight.
  • If repairs are not needed, teachers should get Lenovos back the next day.
  • Any teachers not returning to HCS will need to turn in the bag and charger also.

Don' Forget and Things To Do!

  • When taking leave it is important for you to alert me by text or email, prior to the date of the absence. If it is an emergency, please let me know ASAP. (Adding it to AESOP or Kronos does not provide prior notice. I do not see leave in Kronos until the weekly approvals and AESOP is checked each morning to make sure classes are covered. However, that is not the time for me to be notified of the absence.)
  • EOY checklists have been distributed. Please make sure that we protect these last few days of instructional time-cum folders, report cards, etc should not be done during instructional time.
