Safety for All Students
Please be aware as you come to and from school. Watch for our students as you drive to and from school as many will be using crosswalks. We strongly encourage you to park around the perimeter and walk in to campus, when you are able. To drop-off or pick-up without leaving your vehicle, pull along the white curbs on Harvard or 8th Street. Never stop along a red curb or leave your car while parked in the white zone. Most importantly, teach your child to use crosswalks; never ask them to enter the street to get into the car. If waiting with a dog at pick-up, please wait away from high traffic areas in front of the school.
School Attendance
Being at school each day is very important. Students are welcome at school with a cold but should stay home if they've had fever or vomiting/diarrhea in the past 24 hours. If your child is ill, please email Norma at nperez@cusd.claremont.edu or leave a message on the Attendance Line at 398-0325. If your student has an appointment, please make arrangements to have them attend part of the day.

The Talent Show is Coming Up!
Sycamore's Annual Talent Show is coming up on the afternoon of Sunday, February 23. This event allows students to share their talents with an audience of friends and family. All participants need to complete a permission slip and present their <3 minute act in an “audition”during the week of February 18 to ensure their performance is well-planned and appropriate for our young audience. There will be no dinner this year. Still, the ticket price will go directly to fundraise for Outdoor Science School. The permission slip with more information will be coming soon!
