St. Charles West Homecoming a success!

The weekend of Sept. 23rd was St. Charles West Homecoming! Students lined the school's hallways with decorations aligning to the theme "Move to the Music". On Friday, the school held their annual parade attending by Jefferson Intermediate and Monroe Elementary students, as well as the greater SCSD community. Later that evening, the SCW Warriors played the Warrenton Warriors in football. Despite falling to Warrenton, 28-14, the SCW Warriors played a tough, hard-fought game.

On Saturday, around 400 SCW students finished the week of festivities with an outdoor dance that concluded with seniors Jacob Blassingame and Lily Jackson being named Homecoming king and queen, respectively.

National Custodian Day

October 1st was National Custodian Day and we wanted to say thanks to some of the hardest workers in the SCSD family! With their efforts, they create pristine environments in which our students are able to thrive. They're the glue that holds our buildings and district together. Thank you for everything you do!

Harris Fall Festival

Harris Elementary held its first Fall Festival on Friday, October 1st. Families were invited to bring a picnic dinner and enjoy time getting to know one another during this outdoor event. Students and families were treated to kettle corn, apple cider, music, a picture booth and a bounce house. One of the highlights of the evening was a pumpkin decorating contest! The event had a great turnout and the weather was perfect. Thank you to all who were able to attend!

Null Family Mission Night

Null's annual Mission Night was a huge success. Families showed up with open minds to learn about mission statements and were given the opportunity to create their own. In addition to mission statements, this year Null is focusing on bettering the planet through service projects. Families also had the opportunity to create their own service project or volunteer to help with grade-level projects. It was a fun night where students were able to share their school community with their families.
