The Three Must-Do Activities In The Spring
Sidewalk Chalk
Bubbles
Parents can blow bubbles while their child plays "Catch the Bubbles". This is a fun activity that becomes learning when the parent counts all the bubbles their child catches. You can add a pair of tongs to your game of catch and you have turned this fun game into building pre-cutting skills.
The Park
Doing a spring tour of the parks provides a great opportunity to build vocabulary. Talk with your child by labeling your environment. Talk about the colors, textures, and sensations of spring. Take an empty egg carton and allow your child to start a collection. Rocks, leaves, weeds, tree bark, and bugs are great things to use to practice counting and sorting.
