The Trojan Times
St. Maria Goretti Catholic School September 12, 2021
Mission Statement
St. Maria Goretti is a living testament to our Lord's work in His youngest disciples, exemplified by academic excellence, spiritual formation, and compassionate service to others.
St. Maria Goretti Catholic School aims to form what is True, Good, and Beautiful in the souls of our young disciples of Christ.
Principal's Message
Dear St. Maria Goretti Catholic School Families,
Please remember effective October 4, 2021, Food For Life will no longer be providing a hot lunch service. Students need to be sure to bring silverware, napkins, their lunch, and a drink to school each day. We will have an option for students who forget their lunch, no students will go hungry.
Please remember to keep your child home if they are not feeling well. It is extremely important that you notify the front office that your child will be out AND email Nurse Beth when your child is ill. See the most recent COVID19 Guidelines from the Catholic Schools Office at the following link.
https://smgschool.org/documents/2021/9/Guidelines%20for%20COVID%209.9.21.pdf
Nurse Beth and I are working extremely hard to make sure the students on our campus stay healthy and in school. Keep in mind that as the parent, if you or your children have been exposed to someone who is COVID + OR a COVID test is administered for any reason, Nurse Beth should be notified. Students who are awaiting COVID test results are not allowed to return to school until they have a negative test. This is also true for siblings.
We want to keep our school community healthy and we can only do that if we make sure that we communicate with each other.
We ask that you continue to keep our students, teachers, staff, and priests in your prayers.
St. Maria Goretti, Pray for Us!
Blessings,
Amy Utendorf, M.Ed.
