New Health Insurance Information

Starting September 2023, Provo City School District will be changing medical insurance to offer a much broader network for contracted employees and their dependents.

New: Number Talks/TeachFX Stipend Deadline is May 19

For: Math Teachers

If you are a math teacher who attended the Number Talks workshops and have been using TeachFX, remember to submit all work to qualify for your stipend by Friday, May 19. If you have questions about what you still need to submit, check the Canvas course. May 19 is the absolute last day to submit work to qualify! Don’t miss out! See on employee website. post exp.5.19

LETRS Stipend Deadline- May 15

For: Elementary Teachers

The LETRS stipend deadline is quickly approaching. In order to qualify for this stipend, all work needs to be complete by May 15.

Completion Includes:

  1. Attendance at all Virtual Training Sessions
  2. Completion of all online modules with Unit average scores of 80% or higher.
  3. Completion of Bridge to Practice
  4. Completion of the pre and post test
Medicare Benefits Information

For: All Employees

Getting closer to retirement brings up so many questions with your health insurance. Provo City School District has a great relationship with Senior Benefits, our retiree insurance broker, that can help you with your questions and enrolling into Medicare. Before signing up with a Medicare agent, Senior Benefits would be a great resource to learn about this benefit. Innovative Learning Summit

Bring your curiosity and your passion for education, and join us for an unforgettable experience that will empower you to ride into the future of teaching with confidence and creativity! The PCSD Innovative Learning Summit will be held on May 30-31 and will feature expert presenters from across the state for two days of learning and collaboration, with an optional third day for application. UCTM Materials Grant

For: Math Teachers

The Utah Council of Teachers of Mathematics would like to share the success of their annual conference with math teachers throughout the state of Utah by hosting our first UCTM Materials Grant! This grant gives all K-12 teachers of Utah who teach, coteach, or support teaching of mathematics, an opportunity to infuse their classrooms with up to $1500 of instructional materials. ASM Materials Camp

For: Secondary Teachers

ASM Materials Camp®-Teachers is a free, week-long, idea-generating workshop introducing teachers to methods that make math and core science principles more enticing and relevant to their middle and high school students. Materials topics are great motivators in any engineering, technology or science course as students learn concepts that are reflected in their everyday lives.

STEM: Endorsement Incentive Program
