LIFT Weekly Update
All about the Student Ministries at First Baptist Covington
You've made it to the home stretch! I hope everyone's school year ends well. Here is what you need to know as we jump into summer...
Graduate Recognition Sunday is this Sunday, May 22nd. Graduates, please be in the Fellowship Hall lobby at 10:15am in your cap and gown. We will process into the 10:30am service at the beginning, then walk over to process into the 10:45am service. We will then stay at that service until the end. Then, our gift to you are family portraits after the service. Finally, we'll head over to the Fellowship Hall for a nice lunch together. Remember, if you are the family of a junior, it would be great if you could stick around and help set up and clean up lunch.
I appreciate the feedback from last week's message from LIFT as we started our new series that addresses some of the tough cultural issues of sexuality and gender from a biblical perspective. You can view that message below, along with follow-up questions. We'll continue that series this week! CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED: CONTENT MAY BE MATURE, but I promise we will handle these tough topics appropriately.
Remember, this Wednesday is our Summer Camp Pre-Trip Parent Meeting in the Annex at 7:30pm after LIFT. You'll get all the details and waivers then.
Finally, there is NO LifeLine this week. Instead, come enjoy worshiping with the Children's Choirs at 6pm!
