CHE Update for 11/27

Coyote Staff Weekly Update

Let's Do This!

I hope you all had a truly terrific break and that you avoided doing too much work! I am personally ready to tackle these next 4 weeks with a refreshed attitude and excitement. I hope you can join me. Take these next few weeks to tinker, reflect, grow, and to challenge yourself to connect with every student, everyday!

New Teacher in B10

Mrs. Megan Walkenhorst will start tomorrow as the teacher in the 4/5 combination class! I think most of you know Megan as a parent, substitute teacher, and para-educator. Megan spent four days over the break getting the room cleaned up and updated for her start. She even made an amazing welcome video for the students! Please be sure to congratulate her when you see her!

Goal Setting

I know many of you have already sat down with students to set new goals for the second trimester. A special shout-out to those teachers who have put up specialized goal displays! Fantastic work!

If you haven't done so, please make it a priority to work with your students to take aim at the second go-around. MAP assessments take place in early February and we want to stretch RIT goals past projections. We can do this!
