Dual Enrollment
Representatives from Montgomery County Community College will be here to inform parents about Dual Enrollment opportunities. Dual Enrollment allows students to earn college credits while in high school.
STEAM
Parents will learn about the various STEM offerings at PGHS including our new Project Lead the Way Engineering courses, Robotics program, rigorous science and math courses, and an honors level course at the Western Center that prepares students for a career in medicine.
Advanced Placement
Parents will learn about AP courses offered at PGHS and how they can save money with college tuition through these courses. Plus, AP teachers will share how these courses will prepare your son or daughter for college coursework.
Information Night for AP/Dual Enrollment/STEAM
As students begin to plan their schedule for next school year, this Parent Night will inform parents of the numerous opportunities with Advanced Placement courses, Dual Enrollment, and STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts Math) at PGHS. Parents will have an opportunity to learn all about these enrichment and acceleration courses that their son or daughter may select for their schedule next school year. Students are welcome and encouraged to attend.

8th Grade Parents Scheduling Night - January 25th
The PGHS Counselors will be hosting an information session on HS scheduling for all 8th grade parents on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. in the HS Cafeteria. During this session, parents will learn about high school courses, scheduling, and course selection. Plus, the School Counselors will provide parents with important updates to guide parents and students in scheduling for the 2016/2017 school year.
