Saint of the Gutters
Mother Teresa is well known as the saint of the gutters, because she helped the poor, sick and leper. She made over 500 missionaries before she died. She used her time for the people, and she refused a traditional banquet and requested that they would send the $192,000 to the poor in India.
Her childhood
Agnes was born August 26,1910. She had her first communion when she was 5 and a half. Her dad had died tragically when she was 8 years old. when she was 12 she felt a strong call of God. when she was 18 she became a nun.
