The BISD Technology Team would like to personally invite all community members and surrounding school employees to visit our school for the day. The students and teachers are anxious to show off all the outstanding things they have done and continue to do in the classroom.

You are welcome to come the entire time or stop by when the time is convenient to you.
Students wrote sentences on their iPad, took pictures of the actual events they wrote about, and built a video.
Students read a history story and utilized the green screen to act out the story in order to create a movie.
Students in Biology worked collaboratively to create a Google Slideshow to present their hypothesis over an investigation they completed. This project was called, "Who Dun It" and it was funded by the Boyd Education Foundation.
7th Grade Writing
Students watched "Inside Out" and they analyzed their emotional tendencies based on themes presented in the movie. Using a program called, Glogster, they used words and visuals to map out their brain and explore their emotions, core, memories, personality islands, and subconscious.
5th Grade Math
Students raced to correctly answer math problems on a program called, kahoot.
7th Grade Reading/Writing
Students read the novel, The Hunger Games and worked collaboratively to create an online blog persuading readers to select their tribute and act as a sponsor on their behalf. The Hunger Games was read during Reading class and was funded through the Boyd Education Foundation.
