Cordelia Hills Closure Update 2

*School Closed March 17-April 17**

All Fairfield-Suisun Unified schools, including Cordelia Hills, are closed to staff, students and parents for the next several weeks.

For the next few weeks you can expect the following:

1. Regular updates from the school.

2. A range of online resources from the District, site, and teachers. Some teachers will provide a list of resources and sites. Other teachers may actually provide more work and resources. No work will be graded during this first two week period. It is possible that more formal learning approaches will develop after the period.

3. A pause on Short Term Independent Study during the official closure. Families who had signed contracts already will be responsible for the work before and after any closure.

4. There will be no staff available in person or on-site. We are unable to get materials to you in this period.

Message from District:

At this time, we will still be feeding students starting tomorrow, March 17th, 2020. However, because of the Governor’s recommendation that people who are more vulnerable to COVID-19 should isolate themselves at home, we are reducing the hours and locations of feeding to keep our staff safe. Children will be able to receive food from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM each weekday during closures from only the following schools:

  • Cleo Gordon Elementary - 1950 Dover Avenue, Fairfield

  • Fairfield High - 205 E. Atlantic Ave, Fairfield

  • Fairview Elementary - 830 First Street, Fairfield

  • Grange Middle - 1975 Blossom Ave, Fairfield

  • Suisun Elementary - 725 Golden Eye Way, Suisun City
