Curriculum Highlights
Math-We will finish up Topic 7 this week. Our lessons this week will include skip counting by 2s, 5s, and 10s. We will also identify numbers and patterns using a hundreds chart.
Religion-We will continue to learn about the Holy Spirit in our religion lessons this week. We will discuss the importance of praying to the Holy Spirit for guidance in our daily lives.
Social Studies-Our Patriotic Play preparations are underway! Our lessons throughout the month will identify important American patriots and key American symbols.
Patriotic Play Updates
- All Patriotic Play parts have been assigned and scripts have been distributed. Please keep the scripts at home for reference. Now it's time to start memorizing!
- Costume information will be sent home with your child on Monday, January 25th. Please check your child's homework folder for this important letter.

Thursday-Journal-This week we read a story about Golly. In the story, Golly tried to help the Superkids, but instead of helping he just kept getting in the way. Golly felt frustrated. Write about a time when you felt frustrated. Be sure to write 2-3 complete sentences and illustrate your writing!
