SchoolCash Online
SchoolCash Online helps parents and guardians pay school-related fees — such as field trip costs — safely, quickly and easily. This service will increase efficiency and security by making payments directly into schools’ bank accounts and eliminating the need for teachers to handle money. The new system puts all school-related fees online so payments can be made using a credit card or e-check. Cash and check payments directly to schools are still an option.

Mental Health Awareness / Mindful Moment (New)
Dr. Monifa McKnight, the MCPS Superintendent of Schools, kicks-off the MCPS Mental Health Week by conducting a system-wide mindful moment. During the video, Dr. McKnight asks all students and staff to join her as she leads a breathing exercise. The goal is to unite the entire MCPS community as the school system ALL TOGETHER NOW does a collective mindful moment. Dr. McKnight also shares some information about the week-long event. The video is 2-minutes and 20-seconds in length.

Upcoming Events: (UPDATED)
Good morning! Congressmember Jamie Raskin wants you to know that he is hosting a district-wide Congressional App Challenge (CAC) for middle school and high school students to encourage them to learn to code and inspire them to pursue careers in computer science.
Through the 2022 Congressional App Challenge (CAC) students have the chance to create an app on any topic and platform they choose – and be rewarded for their efforts! Check out the Congressional App Competition Past Winners!
Participation is so easy! Students do not need to submit a finished app to the challenge. Instead, the App Challenge requires students to submit a short video explaining their app and showing footage of any finished portions of the application.
Additional information about the competition can be found on our website.
There is still plenty of time to take part in the Challenge. The deadline for students to register and submit their app online is 12:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday, November 1, 2022.
For your convenience, below, are several links to important information regarding the CAC:
