PTK Information
February PTK Meeting: The next meeting will be Tuesday, February 7 at 7pm. **WE ARE PLANNING THE 8TH GRADE PARTY. Please attend this meeting if you are interested in helping.** We try our best to keep meetings to no longer than an hour. We will meet via a Zoom call hosted by our principal, Mrs. Coleman. PTK Concessions Volunteers Needed
PTK is in need of volunteers to help run concessions during the Girls Basketball games. Volunteers are needed to help with set up at 4pm, selling during the games and clean up at the end. Games begin at approximately 4:15 pm and run until 6:30 pm.
We share this responsibility with POMS, our cheerleading group. PTK is responsible for concessions on:

PTK in need of 7th Grade Parents/Guardians
The current PTK officers have 8th graders and will not continue serving PTK in the 2023-2024 school year. We are looking for volunteers to work with us this year to “learn the ropes” to make the transition a little easier. Please contact Kelly Lockard at kimballtigers@gmail.com for more information.
PTK Committees Seeking Help:
Concessions for boys volleyball season- Committee chair would coordinate selling concessions in conjunction with POMS (our cheerleading group). They would be responsible for the following: creating a SignUp Genius for volunteers; purchasing and maintaining inventory (will be reimbursed for expenses); purchasing ice for drink coolers (will be reimbursed); coordinating volunteer concession workers; work with PTK treasurer to obtain cash box.
Teacher Appreciation Week (First week of May)- Seeking volunteers who would like to help plan and coordinate this special week for our teachers. Some responsibilities include: Making/purchasing gifts to give teachers throughout the week; planning and serving a luncheon; asking for donation of donuts and coffee from local establishment and picking them up or coordinating delivery.
8th Grade End of the Year Party (Friday, May 19)- Seeking volunteers for the following: planning/coordinating food & drinks; planning/coordinating decorating; planning/coordinating activities. We will be asking for chaperones when we get closer to the date of the party.

KMS Green Tigers
Want to get messy? Join Green Tigers, we are focusing on stenciling the bathrooms and gardening in the spring. Our goal is to improve the appearance of our school and community by performing beautification projects while promoting a team atmosphere. Green Tigers meets on Thursdays after school from 330-5 in room 117. Feel free to come when you can, you don't have to come every week. We do provide snacks! Come check us out!

Students who made the Honor Roll (3.0 GPA or better) for the first semester will be receiving an Invitation to attend a special event just for them. Invitations will be delivered to 8th hour classes on Friday, February 17. The invitation and $4.00 admission fee are due no later than Friday, February 24.

Student Council Dance
Student Council is hosting the “Hollywood” dance on Thursday, February 16th from 6-8 pm.
Ticket order forms will be available in the Cafeteria during lunch periods from Feb. 10th - Feb. 15th. Students should fill out the order form, attach $5.00 for the ticket, and turn it in using the black drop box outside the Auditorium. The last day to purchase tickets is Wednesday, February 15. Wristbands will be delivered to students during 8th period on the day of the dance. More details can be found on the ticket order form. El Consejo Estudiantil organizará el baile "Hollywood" el jueves 16 de febrero de 6 a 8 pm.
Los formularios de pedido de boletos estarán disponibles en la cafetería durante los períodos de almuerzo del 10 al 15 de febrero. Los estudiantes deben completar la forma de pedido, adjuntar $5.00 para el boleto y devolverlo usando el buzón negro afuera del Auditorio.
