Our Theme for December at SMS is Gratitude and Giving. Our Advisory and WIN lessons focus on Gratitude and Giving all month long.
Research has shown that gratitude can improve general well-being, increase resilience, strengthen social relationships, and reduce stress and depression. The more grateful people are, the greater their overall well-being and life satisfaction.

FACS Needs Your Help
Dear Spartan Families,
As a part of Family and Consumer Sciences this year 8th grade students have been working hard studying marketing and advertising. As a part of our unit, students have created digital logos, advertisements and prototypes.
To conclude our unit, we would like to provide the students with an opportunity to create promotional products using the logos that they have created.
To do this, WE NEED HELP! We would like to purchase Silhouette cutting machines for our classroom! We have set up an Amazon Wishlist should you want to help us!
We are also very happy to accept donations of used machines, vinyl, heat transfer paper and other related supplies if you know of people that are no longer using their machines and would like to donate to a GREAT cause! :)
Thank you so much for all of your support! We have had a great year so far and look forward to the rest of our time in FACS class!
Ms. Loretta Kopetzky
