Library Lunch Passes
Students may pick up library lunch passes before classes begin in the library. The library lunch passes are to be kept the remainder of the year to use during the lunch block.
*Students MUST have a signed pass from a teacher when coming to the library independently at Titan Time and throughout the school day.

MH Library BYOD
We have created areas of yellow and green zones for students to actively use the library.
Yellow: (Use phones with earphones/plugs for music)
Green: (Use phones for QR code scanning to access the catalog & author info)
Library Sign In
All students must sign in at our Google doc sign-in station at the circulation desk.
Help us remind our MH Titans that their picture ID cards are also their library cards :)
Digital e-books & audio books are just a click away!
Students & staff can read or listen to great titles by just clicking on the icon in the library's catalog or accessing on MH library blackboard.

LIBRARY DATABASE HIGHLIGHT!
The Testing & Education Reference Center will provide students with in-depth information on colleges & universities, and preparatory entrance tests. Available online practice tests include entrance exams, certification and licensing tests. The Testing & Education Reference Center also includes Career Assessment & Resume Builder programs.

I've began using Edshelf last year with classes to provide additional resources for teachers to share with students in transfer tasks. I added some of the popular web2.0 tools and apps for digital storytelling and project presentations on our library's blackboard page.

LIBRARY CARD SIGN-UP
Alexandria Young Adult Services Librarian will be in cafeteria with Ms. Gross during the entire lunch block. Please encourage your students to sign up to receive their public library cards. The card will give them access to thousands of electronic books, journals and databases.

MH Book Fair in December
We will hold our winter book fair in MH Library during the week of December 18-22.
We hope this fair will be a great celebration of reading and provide an opportunity for reluctant and advance readers to find popular books to own at sale prices.
Our profit will be used to purchase books for our nonfiction collection and for library programming.
