Student- vs. Teacher-Centered Teaching
Terry Heick at TeachThought has a great listicle that just came out illustrating the difference between student-centered teaching and teacher-centered teaching. One of my favorites was the difference between grading everything and selective grading while considering the rest as practice.
You can read the full article on the TeachThought webpage. After you check it out, let me know your thoughts! What are some additional comparisons you can add?
Bingo!
As you cross off squares, share them on Twitter with the hashtag #FCSBingo19 and any accompanying pics that would make it fun! I just went to the Bahamas this past weekend and definitely took a few selfies, so here's my updated board!
No updated board this week, but I *am* hanging out with a teacher friend on Wednesday and will definitely take a selfie with her!
If you're looking to get started, one of the challenges is to take part in a Twitter chat and #TECHtalkGA just happens to have their June chat tonight! Join in on Monday at 9pm by following the hashtag #TECHtalkGA and talking about your summer projects! If you need to learn more about the basics of a Twitter chat, check out the resource below.
