To be immune means to be protected to a germ and you cant get again. So it makes sense that the body system that helps fight off sickness is called the immune system. The immune system is made up of a network of cells, tissues, and organs that work together to protect the body.
White blood cells, also called leukocytes are part of this defense system. There are two basic types of these germ-fighting cells: phagocytes and lymphocytes.

- To keep the Immune system healthy, you need to, get enough sleep, eat healthy food.
- The interdependence with the circulatory system is that the circulatory system is the key to the white blood cells moving around the body. If the blood stops running, the body gets sick much more frequently then it wold usually be. That is because the blood cells cant get transported around the body killing germs.
- The function of the Immune system si to prevent you from geting sick.
- These are three layers of defense the human body has inside it are, 1, Skin, 2, Stomach acid, 3, White blood cells.
