Why Is Rosa A Leader? & Qualities
I believe Rosa Parks is a leader because she didn't just do one action, she stayed committed and did multiple actions. Also, she set the example of feminine dignity. Rosa had many leadership qualities such as; powerful, brave motivational, determined and courageous.
Practices of Leadership
Rosa Parks demonstrated equality by not giving up her seat to a white person and standing up for the other African Americans. She also demonstrated this by letting her actions speak for her instead of ranting about things. Rosa demonstrated being an open-minded person by considering everyone’s ideas and listening. She took charge in a “fashionable” manner. Rosa Parks created a boycott called the Montgomery Bus Boycott. Which was a civilized group fighting for the right for African Americans to sit in the front of the bus and not give up their seat to white people.
