Habitat
The panther mostly lives in swamplands, grasslands, and forestes. The panther lives in Asia, Africa and the Americas

The panther can grow up to be 43-75in long and usually weighs between 79-350lbs.
Diet
Panthers are carnivores and like to eat medium to large sized herbivores like Deer and Wild boars.
Predators and Defense
Panthers are often threatened by Lions and Hyenas but Humans are the biggest threat to panthers. They are one of the fiercest animals in their habitats. Panthers are very defensive of their territory and feel threatened by larger or elder panthers. When a panther is threatened it will either fight or back down from a fight depending on the the size of the other panther.
Social Interactions
They live a solitary life and feel very threatened when there is another female or male in their territory. The males are very picky about choosing their mates and once they find them they mate for life. The mate must be interesting to the male for him to choose her.
Movement
The panther can move at a speed at 71mph. They can jump in trees and usually wait there until they see their prey. They can jump a height up to 8 meters.

The Black Panther is seen to be one of the most intelligent and ferocious predators in America. Panthers can also swim great distances. Panthers spend most of their time swimming and playing with other panthers. Panthers are nocturnal, so they hunt at night.
