Counselor's Corner
October is National Bully Prevention Month.
We strive to build a safe learning environment for ALL students at WES. During whole class guidance lessons this month, students in grades pre-k through first will define the terms by accident and on purpose, identify examples and non-examples of by accident and on purpose behaviors, and explore feelings. In grades second through fourth, students will define bullying and cyberbullying, identify examples and non-examples of bullying, and explain why bullying is unacceptable and should be avoided. Students will be encouraged to make a report if they are being bullied. To make a report online visit Anonymous Alerts .
To find more information about parent and youth engagement click Stop Bullying.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at cgonzales@magnoliaisd.org or 281-356-6866 ext. 3407.
Counsel. Educate. Advocate. Empower.
