The Adrian School District is pleased to announce that the referendum vote passed for both questions. The unofficial results for Question 1, to renew the existing referendum of $379.26 per pupil, was 324 yes votes with 63 votes against. For Question 2, to increase referendum by $483 per pupil, the vote was 276 yes votes and 106 votes against.
The additional funds the referendum raises means District 511 will be able to continue to meet the needs of students and the school. It also means we are able to avoid the prospect of making painful reductions in staff and programs.
We want to thank everyone who turned out to vote and want to assure district residents we will continue to be good stewards of the facilities and resources you have provided us with.
