What is fugue music?

I found the definition from Wikipedia(I know Mrs.Labbele didn't want me to but whichever)

"In music, a fugue (/fjuːɡ/ fewg) is a contrapuntal compositional technique in two or more voices, built on a subject (theme) that is introduced at the beginning in imitation (repetition at different pitches) and recurs frequently in the course of the composition"

My Song

I chose the song "Toccata and Fugue in D minor" By Johann Sebastian Bach. The song is very suspenseful, and feels like it came out of a horror movie. In my opinion its a little dark. And although I did choose this song, I do not necessarily enjoy it. It is usually played by an organ, to give it a deep, dark, vibe to it. I believe it tells a story of a scary time in Bachs life. Perhaps whilst his wife was dying, or how he felt while his parents were passing. The song is beautiful in its own way, and is a true work of art.
