Off to a Strong Start
Hello Anderson-Crawford Families,
We are so excited to be preparing for our Open House and to welcome you all into the building to show off what your children have been learning these past two weeks.
There are many great things going on in classrooms. Students have been working on iReady Math and Reading diagnostics as well as learning about routines and expectations. Please ask your child about our Getting Along Together program. All of our classrooms have been working on these lessons that build community and teach conflict resolution skills. We even have a schoolwide weekly challenge that supports the lessons students are receiving in class. This week the schoolwide challenge is I Messages.
Don't miss our PTO events this week! There is a PTO meeting on Thursday, Sept. 8 at 4 pm in the Library, and PTO is selling Popcorn and Pickles on Friday for $1.00 each. Skate Night was such a hit last spring that PTO is bringing it back on Friday from 5-7! Bring your skates and helmets!
Oh! And don't forget Picture Day next week! See the Upcoming Events below.
Thank you so much for your patience and feedback as we have begun this year as a Pre-K-5th grade school. We are enjoying serving our community and your family!
See you in the car line!

See You at Open House!
We hope to see you all at our Open House program on September 7 from 6-7:30. We will have a short introduction in the gym for everyone, then teachers will welcome you to their classrooms where your child can show you around and show off their classroom and accomplishments.
If you would like to conference with the teacher please sign up for a time on another day to talk with the teacher in a private setting. We want to be sure we are able to give you and your child our full attention.
