Principal Post
We are so excited to have our Kindergarten students start In-Person learning next week at DuJardin School! Mrs. Fonk and Mrs. Pecoraro have been working very hard to get their classrooms ready for our newest and youngest students!
Mrs. Munoz, one of our front office secretaries, accepted a position elsewhere. Mrs. Michelle Walters has been hired and will work alongside Mrs. Marshall in the front office. When you have a chance please welcome Mrs. Walters to DuJardin School. We wish Mrs. Munoz all the best in her future endeavors.
Parents will receive a confirmation email stating the schedule (A, B, or Remote) that their child(ren) has/have been assigned. Remember A Group meets on Mondays and Thursdays, B Group meets on Tuesday and Fridays, and Remote learners are at home the entire week. Wednesdays will be remote (at home) for all of our students. Be on the lookout for this confirmation email in the next day or two.
A reminder that DuJardin students will head back to school in a "phased in" approach. Kindergarten and Self Contained Special Education students will start on September 28th. Students in grades 1-3 will start the week of October 5th. Students in grades 4 and 5 will start the week of October 13th (Monday, October 12th is a school holiday). The following is the plan for the return of students in grades K - 5:
- September 28 - Kindergarten and Self-Contained Special Education Students (four days a week)
- October 5 - Grades 1, 2, and 3 (follow the A/B schedule)
- October 13 - Grade 4 and 5 (follow the A/B) schedule
