Chromebook Information:
Our district uses Securly to filter students' online activity on their school-issued devices. Families should have received a welcome email from Securly with specific login information. The emails will be sent to the guardian email addresses we have on file for each guardian in eSchool.
Parents/guardians can access information about their child's internet activity through the following ways:
Securly sends parents/guardians a weekly activity report email for their child. This email contains a direct link to the Parent Portal. Parents/guardians can choose how frequently they want to receive updates about their child's online activity.
Parents can also download the SecurlyHOME App. Open the app and click the "send me a link" button. A link will be sent to the email on file in eSchool. Once you have clicked this link, you'll be taken to the SecurlyHOME App, and your account is ready to go.
For more information on the this app click here: https://www.lmtsd.org/cms/lib/PA01000427/Centricity/Domain/45/Securly%20Parent%20Letter%20MA%202018-12-12.pdf

Yearbook Announcement:
Parents of seniors only:
There is still time to purchase an ad/dedication to your child for the 2018-2019 yearbook. Use this link to buy and create the ad:

The deadline for ad purchases will be in February, so get your orders in quickly. Remember, all seniors receive a yearbook so there is no need to purchase a book. Senior ads are typically used to post a dedication to a graduating senior or send congratulations to the class of 2019.
If you still need to pick your child's senior portrait for the yearbook, please call Barksdale. That deadline is soon.
Parents of underclassmen: This year, underclassmen will have individual portraits in the yearbook. If you would like to purchase a yearbook for your child, please use this link: https://www.yearbookordercenter.com/?event=general.displayLanding&jobnumber=4071

Mrs. Siciliano’s business classes continued the tradition of adopting a family for the holidays though Pathways PA. The student contributed money from each class and then volunteers from each class, armed with the family’s wish list shopped to make their holiday brighter. Friday, December 14, all classes prepared the gifts by wrapping them for the family.

Happy New Year from the School Counseling Office! This is a friendly reminder that the window to schedule a junior college planning conference with your junior student and school counselor is January 14th - March 14th. Appointment times do fill up quickly. If you are planning on scheduling a conference, we advise you to do so soon by contacting Mrs. Forcina in the School Counseling Office. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Library News
The library is celebrating its award of a Mini-Grant for a T-Shirt Fab Lab! With the awarded grant funds, we will be purchasing a silk screen printer, t-shirts and ink to bring this idea to life. Students will be able to design their t-shirt on the MAC’s, use the vinyl cutter to cut out their design, then attach it to the screen and print! If it’s for a class or club the students will look at different methods to market their brand.
On January 1st, 1892 Ellis Island was opened. This month the library will have fiction and non-fiction books on display about immigration and what life is like for an immigrant. Stop by the library to check out the display!
The latest edition of The Book Room is available here (and here goo.gl/wQtFzC). Take a look at what’s happening in the library and reviews of our new books!
