If a school nurse does identify a reason for a student to go home (fever/injury) the nurse will make contact with a guardian. Feel free to contact the school nurse if you have any questions.
Chamber of Commerce CTE Student of the Month
Congratulations to Sheyla Bektic, February's Chamber of Commerce CTE Student of the Month! Sheyla is an active member of the PFHS Kindness Club and Key Club. She plans to work as a traveling doctor and author after high school. Way to go, Sheyla!

Congratulations to Ryan Wood for his 23 years of service as a wrestling official!
A big thank you to Ryan Wood on 23 years of service as a wrestling official and wrestling commissioner for District 1. He will be retiring after this season.
Key Club Blood Drive
Hospitals around Idaho are experiencing blood shortages and the best way to combat that is to donate blood! Key Club's February 14th blood drive at PFHS received enough donations to positively impact 99 lives in the community. Thank you to all the donors and volunteers. PFHS will host another blood drive in May, so it's not too late to make a difference!
Prom
Prom is April 29th and the theme is Viva Las Vegas. Tickets will cost $35 each, and they will go on sale from April 10th - 28th during both lunches. Students who plan to bring a date that does not go to PFHS will need to fill out a form provided by the office prior to buying tickets. SAT-April 12, 2023
Juniors who opted-in to take the SAT this Spring will be taking the test during school on April 12th, 2023. Students will need to arrive to their testing room on test day by 7:45am. Talent Show
Join us for the 2023 ASB Spring Talent Show! Thursday, March 16th at 6:30pm in the Auditorium! Doors open at 6pm - see you there!
Higher Education Tour for Juniors
On March 20th, all Juniors will get the opportunity to hear from three different college and or career options during the Higher Education Tour. There will be in-state and out-of-state colleges, military, workforce and cosmetology options for students to choose from. Juniors should have completed their interest survey, if not or you have questions, please see Spencer in Room 137. Students will receive a schedule prior to the event.

Local Scholarships for Seniors
Seniors! It is time to get serious about applying for scholarships! There are MANY local scholarships available to you! Please visit the PFHS College and Career Website or come to Room 137 to pick up printed copies! Due dates are fast approaching!
The Schneidmiller Scholarship
Seniors! The Schneidmiller Scholarship is an exclusive scholarship for PFHS Seniors who plan to attend an in-state college, WSU or EWU. Students must have a 3.0 GPA or higher, community involvement and demonstrate financial need. Please see the Idaho Community Foundation Website for the online application or stop by Room 137 for a printed copy! DUE March 15th, 2023!
